Third Academy Calgary Campus Updates

The Third Academy Calgary North (B4 Currie Barracks, 2452 Battleford Ave SW, Calgary T3E 7K1)
Starting in September, 2008 the Third Academy in Calgary will have two operational school campuses. We are still trying to determine boundaries, but it does appear likely that any students living north of Glenmore Trail will be going to the Currie Barracks location. Students living in Lakeview, Discovery Ridge, Elbow Valley or any other developments on Highway 8 will also go to the Currie Barracks site.
Any
students living south of Glenmore Trail with the exception of those communities just
mentioned will be going to the Third Academy South campus.
The Third Academy Calgary South (Hwy 22X, at the corner of 54th Street SW, 5 minutes to the west of Spruce Meadows)
Foothills School Division will vacate the school site February 29, 2008. Within two weeks thereafter, Third Academy will begin minor renovations to be completed by mid June. We decided to have the Open House before renovations begin so that our families can begin readying themselves for the shift over. We will, of course, have an open house in June. At that time, we will invite all families- current and prospective- to visit again. We very much hope that the transformation of the school site will please everyone. This is a very exciting time for our families, staff, and students. Come and see and be part of this event with Dr. S. Lal Mattu, CEO, and his Third Academy team on Saturday, January 26th from 10am-1pm .
